The BS 25999 Toolkit

The toolkit is designed to assist various aspects of the implementation of BS 25999 and a business continuity management system. It is packaged as an internet download, but actually contains a wide range of related items.

These include:
  • The standard itself (both parts)
  • A variety of audit questionnaires
  • A checklist for a BCP (plan)
  • A business impact questionnaire
  • An introductory presentation
  • A dependency assessment paper
  • A paper based risk assessment system
  • An introduction to standards as a concept

The toolkit was developed using input for a variety of sources, including BSI. It's prime function is to introduce many of the concepts and essential practices needed for successful BCM, and to provide a number of on-going reference materials.
